In this chapter, after another rough and rowdy encounter with Jasmin, Ash is finally confronted by Dave for her cheating - and although the inevitable breakup is obviously painful, Ashley soon finds consolation in the embrace of her boss at work, and, later, in Jack's bed. As Jack offers to the now-free Ashley to become her new boyfriend, she gladly accepts - and, much to her surprise, soon discovers a hitherto concealed depth to his personality.
